Gina is married, has 2 young children, and resides in southern California. As a full-time Health & Fitness Coach working from home, Gina’s passion is to help her clients start their journey to improve their health and help them finish with success. Gina stresses that it’s not a diet, but a lifestyle change that starts with making small, consistent changes over time. It doesn’t have to be something that is a major overhaul or intimidating. The goal is just to START!
After graduating college and working as a residential home designer, Gina found herself in the same predicament that most professionals find themselves in; the lack of physical activity and stress of working that leads to weight gain and lack of energy. Fast forward 8 years, now married and starting a family, Gina knew she had to do something to get her health back on track. Gina had tried a gym membership twice in the past but she’d go for a month and then lose motivation to keep going. She tried working out at home, but again, would lose motivation. That’s when she turned to a Beachbody Challenge group and coach to help keep her accountable to begin working out at home and eating healthy. It was the encouragement, support, and motivation of her coach that led to her success without giving up.
Gina lost 20 pounds, got healthy, and toned her body by working out at home starting with the Beachbody program Turbo Jam. She chose to make it work from home without a gym membership because she just wasn’t motivated to drive to the gym every day. It’s just the truth! To get herself and her daughter ready to go and then drop her off with people at the gym she didn’t know, was not what she wanted. It took too much time as a busy mom! So, she chose to workout at home and join an online 30-day challenge group. It’s what kept her motivated. After joining a challenge group and seeing results, Gina decided that she wanted to help pay it forward and inspire others to also make a change in their lives.
The decision to become a Coach…
Gina’s always been told that she has the gift of encouraging people. It was during her challenge group that she realized she could also help others get healthy and use her gift of encouragement to build a business where she could spend time one-on-one with moms and professionals to get their health back on track.
As much as Gina loves being a stay at home mom with her children, she still wanted to work and put to use her skills from college and her career. She needed a creative outlet! Coaching was the perfect opportunity for her. As a coach, Gina gets to use her problem-solving skills that she learned as an architectural designer to find ways to meet new people, market herself and her challenge groups, and come up with creative ways to motivate people. She also gets to implement and use her leadership skills from working as a professional and project manager to lead her team of coaches to success both in their businesses and in their health and fitness goals. It’s a win-win situation.
Gina partnered with Beachbody (the makers of Insanity, P90X, Hip Hop Abs, Piyo, etc.) to become a coach and provide her clients with a complete system to be able to workout from home and see results! The support and accountability she gives to each of her clients has given them to ability to workout from home, creating the opportunity for them to lose weight, and spend more time with their families, as well as inspire their family members to also get healthy. It’s a ripple effect! To this day, Gina has worked with hundreds of individuals to give them back the life that they deserve; a life that is happy, fulfilling, and confident!
Not only has she been able to affect the lives of so many people, but she has also been able to provide herself and her family with an additional income that allows her children to go to the best schools, pay for their monthly mortgage, and go on countless date nights, all while working from home with the flexibility to work when she wants. In fact, at the beginning of 2016 Gina was able to successfully reach her goal of growing her business to match the income she was making as a design professional, while only working an average of 10-15 hours per week from home as a health & fitness coach.*
Gina specializes in working with not only moms, but also medical professionals. Each month she starts a 4-week Challenge Group for Nurses and other medical professionals who need the accountability to get healthy so they can have the energy to take care of their patients, as well as go home to their families and be the best mom, wife, friend, or employee they can be!
In her spare time, Gina loves to travel and hike with her husband, play music, cook, and read non-fiction books. Both Gina and her husband are involved in leadership and ministry at their church. Gina leads Bible studies and her husband Caleb is a youth pastor and worship leader.
